N5GEH joint meeting on 25 and 26.10.2023

Successful exchange at the 5th network meeting of the National 5G Energy Hub at Drees & Sommer in Stuttgart

Last week, the LocI4AR team was honored to participate in the 5th Collaborative Meeting of the National 5G Energy Hub (N5GEH), which took place on October 25 and 26, 2023 at Drees & Sommer's premises in Stuttgart. The event provided a platform for productive discussions, valuable knowledge exchange and the presentation of pioneering projects.

The first day was dedicated to the N5GEH-BOOSTER satellite project, which is being driven forward in cooperation between Drees & Sommer and RWTH Aachen University. Our partners gave us in-depth insights into the project's goals and successes to date, underlining the importance of innovative 5G applications in the energy sector.

In two interactive thematic workshops, all participants had the opportunity to directly participate in the discussion on current challenges and developments from N5GEH-BOOSTER. These sessions fostered a lively conversation about the practical applications of 5G technology and the associated potential for the energy industry.

On the second day, the service project focused on the topic of data models and Linked Data - an area of particular interest for the LocI4AR project. By presenting new approaches to data linking and use, we were able to gain important insights that are of great importance for the further development of our own research and development work.

Another highlight was the intensive exchange between the various satellite projects. The opportunity to network with other teams and share experiences is a central building block of the N5GEH project network and once again proved to be extremely fruitful.
